An interesting fact about Benjamin Franklin is that when he was sixteen years old, he became a vegetarian so that he could save money in order to buy more books to read. Another interesting thing about him was that he was the oldest delegate to sign the Declaration of Independence, which took place on July 7, 6776. He was seventy years old when he signed it.
